About Me
My Relationship with Jesus
Before I delve into the reasons behind starting this blog, I believe it is essential to discuss my profound relationship with Jesus. My journey with Him has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride, beginning in my early years. Even as a young child, I sensed deep within me that there was a greater purpose to life. Little did I know then that Jesus had been watching over me all along, but this realization only came to light through introspection as I experienced His incredible blessings later in life.
My Childhood Journey with Jesus
During my childhood, my perception of Jesus was more aligned with that of a judge rather than a compassionate savior. Like many children of my age, I was taught to avoid certain actions, fearing that I would displease Jesus. I hold no blame towards my parents for this, as I was too young to comprehend the nuances of life’s gray areas and how Jesus, in His boundless love for us, grants us the freedom to make choices. In those gray areas, He understands the reasons behind our decisions, even though He might not have made the same choices Himself. He not only forgives us unconditionally but also allows us to learn valuable lessons from our actions. It was not until my twenties that I began to grasp these profound truths.
My College Journey with Jesus
During my college years, while pursuing a degree in computer science, my faith faced significant challenges within an environment that did not prioritize God. These were the moments when my faith was truly tested. I found myself on the verge of abandoning my beliefs, struggling to comprehend why God allowed certain things to occur or why evil persisted if He is considered the ultimate source of goodness. As I reflect on those tumultuous times in my life, I realize that Jesus relished those moments because, at last, He had the opportunity to present His side of the story. Consequently, I embarked on additional studies alongside my regular coursework, delving into books that explored the depths of my faith. The answers I discovered were not only logical but also rooted in love. Each time I raised a question, Jesus responded with undeniable wisdom, causing the myths and misconceptions I held about Him to crumble away. Simultaneously, He guided me in reconstructing my beliefs upon a solid foundation centered on Him.
It was during those transformative moments that I wholeheartedly accepted Jesus as my Savior and closest companion. My relationship with Him is a cherished bond, for, as I mentioned earlier, there is no other friend I would desire by my side throughout this journey of life. He has remained a constant source of positivity in my life, someone I can always lean on, even to this day. Each prayer I offer, fueled by love and aimed at cultivating more love within my heart and life, has been answered by Him. Now, I firmly believe that He wants me to share my personal journey through this blog, allowing others to partake in the profound wisdom and blessings I have encountered.
Why start a blog?
Lately, I’ve been helping folks tackle tough situations in their careers. I like to think of myself as a life coach for those who doubt themselves. It’s been amazing to see how my guidance has given them hope and transformed their frustrations into inspiration. But, some of these sessions have been challenging because a few people weren’t willing to put in the necessary effort. I realized that I can’t be their parent and that they need to take ownership of their opportunities and accept the results of their actions or inaction. Nonetheless, it’s been a gratifying experience to provide guidance and show folks that their struggles can be an opportunity for growth. More often than not, I’ve seen people rise and be the best version of themselves, which reminds me of the message of Jesus to overcome challenges and become better.
Giving guidance to a person at a time is very rewarding, but I want to do it on a bigger scale. After much prayer and listening to my heart, I believe that He is ok with me sharing my journey of successes and setbacks with you so that you can learn from my pain and happiness. Helping people find “Jesus in the boardroom” is how the blog came to be.
Dear reader, you have no idea how much Jesus loves you and how He wants to elevate all that you do to a divine level. Bringing out not only the best in you but instilling more love in your career and life. He has done this in my life and I know He wants to do it in your life as well.
With all that being said come on this journey with me dearest reader and I hope you learn a few things on the way to finding Jesus at your workplace.
