With many uncertainties in life sometimes it’s not about winning when we have set a goal for ourselves sometimes it’s our faith in Jesus despite the current struggle that we are in cultivates more faith which will lead to a remarkable journey.

As I was browsing through social media, I came across a post about a woman who has been tirelessly searching for a job for nine months. In today’s challenging economy, it’s disheartening to read such stories. However, what truly inspires me is her unwavering determination. She refuses to give up, and that’s a remarkable testament to her resilience. This got me thinking, can we say the same about the things that are important to us?
Faith and Perseverance in Jacob’s Journey
Discovering Strength in Struggle
After he had taken them across the stream
Gensis 32:23-26
and had brought over all his possessions,
Jacob was left there alone.
Then some man wrestled with him until the break of dawn.
When the man saw that he could not prevail over him,
he struck Jacob’s hip at its socket,
so that the hip socket was wrenched as they wrestled.
The man then said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”
But Jacob said, “I will not let you go until you bless me.”
In the book of Genesis, we encounter the story of Jacob, who embarked on a life-altering journey. After crossing a stream and leaving behind everything he owned, Jacob found himself wrestling with an unknown figure until daybreak. Despite the immense struggle and the uncertainty of the outcome, Jacob did not make any visible progress. It may have seemed like a major setback, a potential loss, or a failure. But what captivates me is Jacob’s unwavering faith. He declared, “I will not let you go until you bless me.” The sheer strength of his faith sends chills down my spine. I encourage all of you to adopt the same disposition in the face of numerous setbacks.
The Journey to Success and Faith in Action
As I embark on my own journey, this very blog is my path to success. My ultimate aim is to bring Jesus into your meetings and be a part of your careers. I must admit, though, seeing the low visitor count on my site can feel discouraging at times. But then I remind myself, where is my faith? I can be more like Jacob I will not give up until Jesus blesses me.
